Red Cross Emergency First Aid

This course teaches you what to do during a life threatening emergency. Emergency First Aid is for the general public and can be used at certain workplaces (please check with your employer). This course will provide you with all you need to know to help someone with respiratory difficulty, someone in cardiac arrest, or someone who is severely bleeding.

You will learn with confidence the following skills:

the valuable check, call, care system
how to treat an adult, child, or infant when they are choking
how to perform CPR on an adult, child or infant in cardiac arrest
how to use the automated external defibrillator on an adult or child in cardiac arrest
how to help during respiratory emergencies such as asthma or severe allergic reactions
how to help anyone in shock
how to help with severe bleeding

Included in this course is the Red Cross First Aid and CPR manual as well as a wall certificate, wallet certificate or both. This certification lasts for 3 years.
