This course is for people who want extensive first aid skills. With this course you will have the ability to treat people for life threatening conditions as well as less life threatening such as fractures and soft tissue injuries. This course can be used by the general public as well as for your workplace (please check with your employer). You will be able to effectively take care of someone in need until paramedics arrive.

You will learn with confidence the following skills:

the complete Emergency First Aid Course
how to help with a suspected head or spine injury
how to help with musculoskeletal injuries and how to immobilize them
how to bandage soft tissue injuries
how to help with sudden medical emergencies such as seizures and diabetes
how to help in case of a poisoning

Included in this course is the Red Cross First Aid and CPR manual as well as a wall certificate, wallet certificate or both. This certification lasts for 3 years.
